They are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer Intern to collaborate with a talented team in designing and building machine learning solutions, including Large Language Model agents, across their global brands. Responsibilities: - Work alongside DE, Product and ML team to understand requirements and build standards - Develop, fine-tune, and integrate LLM agents and other intelligent agents with guidance from senior engineers - Lead or contribute to the development of agents for a variety of use cases within Disney - Evaluate LLMs and agents using established metrics and user feedback, iterating based on results - Prepare and preprocess data for ML model training and evaluation - Maintain ML/LLM pipelines and troubleshoot technical issues - Document work and present results to technical and non-technical teams - Stay up to date with trends in ML, LLM, and agent technology Required Qualifications: - Solid Python programming and experience with ML libraries (scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy) - Good understanding of Language Models such as Google Gemini, OpenAI GPT, Nova, Mistral etc - Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and LLM libraries (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers) - Understanding of LLM evaluation techniques and prompt engineering basics - Effective problem-solving and communication skills - Currently enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other STEM related field at an accredited college or university - Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship - Be at least 18 years of age - Possess unrestricted work authorization - Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work - Fully available from Monday-Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours per week Preferred Qualifications: - Experience building UI, Chatbots - Familiarity with cloud ML platforms and version control (Git) - Knowledge of SQL or handling large datasets - Experience building RAG applications using frameworks like langchain, langGraph, etc - Understands multi-agentic workflows in context for building LLM applications Required Skills: Python programming, Machine learning libraries, scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, Language Models, Google Gemini, OpenAI GPT, Nova, Mistral, Deep learning frameworks, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LLM libraries, Hugging Face Transformers, LLM evaluation techniques, Prompt engineering Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
