Job Description
Summary: The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This internship offers real-world experience in financial and business operations, where you'll apply analytical skills to support data-driven decision-making and contribute to problem-solving initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand key business drivers and deliver data, analytics, and insights that inform decision-making
- Generate reporting and ad-hoc data analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities across multiple lines of business
- Create and maintain data visualization dashboards (Power BI or similar tools) to deliver insights and enable internal efficiencies
- Contribute to the development and optimization of data processes and workflows
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong technical capabilities across the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, analysis and reporting to drive insights and outcomes
- A combination of academic proficiency, quantitative skills, and advanced written and oral communications skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
- Proactive self-starter with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- An understanding of statistical modeling techniques and forecasting methodologies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, collaborate effectively, and contribute to a team-oriented environment
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
- Fully available from Monday - Friday, 40 hours each week, during traditional business hours
- Able to provide own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship program in the Anaheim, CA area
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience developing impactful presentation decks to communicate insights, summarize analyses, and support business recommendations
- Prior experience with tools such as SAP, Power Query or VBA, SQL, Tableau or Power BI
