Job Description
Summary: The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Finance Transformation Intern to join their transformation team. The role involves working on projects to enhance operating efficiencies and collaborating with finance teams to implement solutions for complex issues.
Responsibilities:
- You will work on projects to provide long-term operating efficiencies across segments, research data, systems, and tools to streamline processes, and partner with internal and external clients to strengthen how teams operate cohesively in their respective business segments, just to name a few
Required Qualifications:
- Gained abilities through Finance, Accounting, and Business Administration coursework
- Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and a willingness to embrace and adapt to a constantly evolving environment
- Strong project management skills; Diligent while leading multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
- Collaborative attitude combined with the ability to work independently
- Data analytics mentality
- Ability to structure projects and handle ambiguous data
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable working with diverse teams/groups of people as well as executives
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
- Candidate must be fully available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship
- This internship is an on-site position, but also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace for the days you may work from home
- Able to provide your own housing and reliable transportation for the duration of the internship program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Excel knowledge and PowerPoint skills
- Comfortable working with AI (Copilot)
- Data Visualization (i.e., Tableau) and Business Intelligence Tools experience and proficiency
- Junior or Senior year preferred
- Major or previous coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Science or equivalent
