Job Description
The mission of the University of Kansas School of Business is to advance and impart business knowledge while preparing students to be leaders who positively contribute to business and society.
The Catalyst (a program of the KU School of Business Management and Entrepreneurship Area) is an opportunity designed for students who have their own venture or are seeking to start a new venture and desire mentoring and other support. There are three stages of The Catalyst program.
This job posting is for students interested in applying for Stage 2 or Stage 3 of The Catalyst. Applicants offered a position will attend cohort meetings, mentor Stage 1 participants, and at the highest level will lead the cohort meetings. As time permits, Stage 2 or 3 students may work on their own venture/venture idea. Participants in The Catalyst can expect their networks to expand given the nature of the relationships they will be expected to build with students, mentors, and other partners.
Before applying, please consider that the expectations of Catalyst members are to represent the KU School of Business and its Management and Entrepreneurship Area well. Being present and responsive to communications is a must.
Throughout their employment, student employees will maintain and manifest positive actions that align with and support the Code of Conduct for the School of Business.
