Job Description
Summary: The Trade Desk is a global technology company focused on creating a better internet through intelligent advertising. They are seeking a Software Engineering Intern to own and ship meaningful projects, collaborate with a globally connected team, and work with new technologies in computer science.
Responsibilities:
- Own and ship a meaningful project, end-to-end
- Receive one-on-one mentorship from an experienced software engineer
- Collaborate with a globally connected team of engineers, interns & other teams and departments in cities across the world
- Work with new technologies across a wide spectrum of computer science, including: distributed systems, petabyte-scale data processing, machine learning/AI, and UI/UX
Required Qualifications:
- Are fluent in one or more modern object-oriented programming languages
- Have a firm grasp on basic data structures and algorithmic techniques
- Are a quick and self-directed learner
- Are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program
- Are expected to graduate between Autumn 2026 and Summer 2027
- Need to be available working 3 days in person in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
