Job Description
Summary: TJX Companies is a Fortune 100 company and the world’s leading off-price retailer. They are seeking a Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist to provide diversified support for hourly hiring in the HomeGoods/Homesense Distribution Centers, acting as a liaison between candidates, recruiters, and HR business partners.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent TJX employment brand experience to all candidates
- Provide diversified support for multiple Recruiters and Distribution Center locations in a dynamic, high-volume, fast-paced work environment
- Act as a business partner and liaison to both Recruiters and Distribution Center HR teams on process
- Schedule and coordinate onsite and virtual interviews at Distribution Center locations
- Draft and send offer letters to candidates
- Initiate and track progress of pre-hire background checks; adjudicate former employment and education flags
- Partner with internal contacts (Distribution Center HR, HR Compliance, HR Xpress, Payroll) to ensure accurate new hire records and documentation
- Proactively communicate with candidates and external contacts across various channels (email, phone, text)
- Track applicant flow in real time, manage ATS transactions, maintain accurate Excel records of candidate pipelines, and prepare new hires for orientation
- Effectively manage 100+ candidates weekly in the ATS during peak periods
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining a positive, professional demeanor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the flexibility to tailor communication style to different audiences
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
- High attention to detail, with strong organizational and follow-through abilities
- Self-directed individual who can work independently and collaborate effectively with peers and business partners
- Ability to build credible, trustworthy relationships and maintain a growth mindset
- Flexibility to support weekends and/or work outside core business hours (9:00–5:00) during peak periods or as business needs dictate
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources
