Summary: The Standard is a company focused on making a difference in the lives of others through a customer-first mindset. They are seeking an intern to support the IT Finance Strategic Initiatives team, helping to streamline financial processes and establish reporting templates for the recently acquired American Health IT. Responsibilities: - Support the monthly actuals review, reconciliation and full year forecast for the American Health IT financials through various, large data extracts from core financial systems (Workday, Apptio) - Operationalize loading and reviewing of forecasting, budget, and actuals data in Apptio IT Planning - Develop a standardized reporting and forecasting template, with integrated load file, optimized for both finance and non-finance end users - Ensure scalability of new reporting and forecasting template through tight partnership with the broader IT Finance and Analytics team - Establish and document a process, in partnership with the TBM Analytics team, to validate financials from Workday tie to Apptio for AH Financials - Opportunity for secondary deliverable to develop forecasting process for Azure cloud spend if time allows Required Qualifications: - Undergrad or graduate student studying in the areas of Finance, Accounting or Economics - Experience and/or exposure IT financial management practices such as budgeting, forecasting, cost allocations, and operational performance analysis - Advanced level proficiency in Excel required, data integration and Power BI experience a plus - Strong project ownership and organizational skills: self-directed and capable of managing collaboratively without formal authority to achieve results through others; express ideas clearly and persuasively in oral, written, and presentation forms Required Skills: Excel, IT financial management Important Skills: Power BI, Budgeting, Forecasting Nice-to-Have Skills: Project ownership Benefits: Three days of paid time off and paid company holidays during your internship period, Real-world experiences and meaningful projects that support your career goals provided by a supportive and responsive management team eager to help with skills development, Opportunities to build relationships and broaden industry knowledge through virtual networking with leaders and team members across the company, A virtual first day orientation and the equipment necessary (e.g., laptop, monitors, headset) for a successful internship experience
