General Manager of Restaurants at The Skinny… · South…

Lead. Grow. Make an Impact.

Are you a hands-on leader who’s passionate about local food, energized by fast‑paced environments, and ready to shape the future of a growing, mission‑driven restaurant group? If you thrive in multi‑unit operations, love developing people, and want your work to mean something, this role might be your next big step.

We’re looking for a full‑time, hands‑on GM of Restaurant Operations to oversee three high‑volume Skinny Pancake locations inside Burlington International Airport (BTV). This is a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic team under one roof while elevating the guest experience for hundreds of travelers every day.

Who We Are

The Skinny Pancake is on a mission to change the world by building a safer, healthier, and more delicious regional food system — all while creating everyday enjoyment that’s fun, affordable, and rooted in community. We’re committed to local sourcing, sustainability, and creating workplaces where hospitality professionals can build real careers. We’re growing quickly, and our leaders are the heart of that growth. If you’re excited by innovation, energized by people, and motivated by purpose, we’d love to meet you.

As our General Manager of Restaurant Operations at BTV, you will:

• Lead with integrity, compassion, and a hands‑on approach
• Drive financial performance and meet/exceed profitability goals
• Hire, train, coach, and develop high‑performing teams
• Oversee quality, safety, and operational excellence across all units
• Manage scheduling, payroll, cash handling, and inventory
• Build strong relationships with airport partners and transportation agencies
• Champion hospitality and inspire your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of restaurant management experience, including 2+ years as a General Manager
• Strong kitchen/culinary management background
• Experience with P&L management and operational decision‑making
• Proven ability to train, coach, and develop teams
• Comfortable working in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment
• Multi‑unit experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work 8–10 hour shifts between 4:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., including weekends/holidays
• Ability to pass airport security clearance

What We Offer

• $80,000–$90,000 salary + quarterly performance bonuses
• Career growth opportunities — we’re expanding
• Paid time off (12 days accrued after 6 months)
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• 401(k) with company match
• Comprehensive training and ongoing development
• A mission‑driven culture that values people, community, and local food

Why This Role Matters

This is more than an operations job — it’s a chance to lead a flagship location, shape guest experiences, and help build a more sustainable food future. If you’re an up‑and‑coming leader who wants to grow with a company that’s growing too, we’d love to hear from you.
