Software Engineer (Frontend, React) at The Services… · Lahore

Location: Thokar, Lahore

Job Type: Full time, on site

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM

About the Role

Our client, a software house is looking for a React Developer to build and maintain modern web applications. You will work closely with the team on frontend features, connect them to backend APIs, and help keep the codebase clean and reliable.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 1 React application built and shipped, with a GitHub link
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS
• Hands on experience with React, including hooks, state management, forms, and React Router
• Experience with Tailwind CSS
• Working knowledge of Git and GitHub, including branches, pull requests, and code review
• Familiarity with Vite, npm, and ESLint

Nice to Have

• Backend exposure with Node.js, Express, REST APIs, and JWT authentication
• Basic SQL and PostgreSQL, enough to read queries and make small changes
• Testing with the Node test runner or Playwright
• Exposure to CI pipelines, Docker, or Sentry
• Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, used carefully with output checked
• Experience with ERP, POS, accounting, or inventory software
• Understanding of business concepts such as invoices, purchase orders, stock, and debit and credit
• Experience building data heavy forms with line items, totals, taxes, and validation
• Experience with role based access and multi company or multi branch applications

Key Skills We Value

• Attention to detail, since wrong totals in an ERP can cost real money
• Clear written English for pull requests and bug reports
• Comfort working through code review and QA retesting
