The Sanctuary Golf Club, a prestigious Member-owned private golf club located on Sanibel Island, FL is accepting resumes for a full-time Seasonal Snackery Attendant to work in the Snackery facility located on the 10th hole of the our beautiful, award-winning golf course from October 2026 - May 2027.
The Snackery Attendant performs a variety of duties within a snack bar/food environment including completing customer orders and transactions, handling and preparing food and beverage items, cleaning the food, drink and stock areas and maintaining inventory. In this role you must consistently demonstrate friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, obliging and attentive service to Members and Guests of the Club.

COMPENSATION: *Total comp typically averages $22/hr. (minimum) - $27/hr. (base hourly rate, plus share of gratuities)
SCHEDULE:
October 2026 - May 2027, Full-time, 5 days/week, approximately 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., weekends included
Must work weekends and holidays and be flexible with availability and highly dependable
Schedule will vary based on multiple factors (e.g., golf course hours of operation, events, weather conditions)

Requirements
Reports to work on time and in a clean and complete uniform
Completes set-up for daily use in a timely manner in order to open facility for service
Provides immediate attention to all Members and Guests upon entering the facility
Regularly use Members' names
Answers any questions in relation to menu offerings
Takes Members’ and Guests’ food and drink orders
Ensures that all charges to Member accounts are accurate and complete
Handle and prepare food and beverage items in accordance with established service and safety standards
Monitors guest needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests will be promptly fulfills
Regularly cleans and maintains inside and outside of Snackery throughout shift
Complies with all health and safety standards/regulations, as well as all applicable beverage, federal, state and local laws/ordinances
Maintains adequate levels of inventory in Snackery; requests items from Kitchen and Clubhouse as needed
Advises management or any complaints as soon as they occur
Performs clean-up and daily closing of Snackery
Attends staff meetings, as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, REQUIREMENTS
Uphold the standards of The Sanctuary by providing Members and Guests with the finest service with regards to appearance, presentation and attention to detail
The ability to read, write English and execute basic math skills
Food Safety Certification
Of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages in Florida
Required to safely operate golf cart and beverage cart
Must be able to work independently and without direct supervision
Similar experience in high-end club environment preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach
Use of
Push, pull, lift, move up to 40 pounds
Continuous repetitive motions
Exposure to hot, humid environment
Ability to work alone in Snackery for extended periods of time
