Job Description
An Audit Manager is required, based in Milton Keynes, £50,000 to £55,000 basic, depending on experience. This successful and growing small Accountancy Practice wishes to recruit an Audit Manager to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership and provide an excellent level of service to a portfolio of clients which meets and exceeds their expectations. The portfolio will be 40% Audit and 60% accounts.
- Manage the entire client engagement from start to delivery, including planning and risk assessment, budgetary control, audit substantive work, file review, audit completion, resolving significant issues with the Partner and client, and delivering the audit file to the Partner.
- Manage the audit process and audit file reviews in accordance with the firm's standard procedures.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with regulatory, audit methodology, and risk management requirements.
- Ensure agreed deliverables are met within the set timeframe, and the job is completed within budget.
- Identify and understand client needs, offer tailored solutions, and execute them effectively.
- Mentor and support junior team members, answering questions and ensuring high-quality work.
- Deliver the Company’s vision and values.
- Represent the firm internally and externally in a professional manner through appearance, conduct and attitude.
Key Requirements
- The successful candidate will be a qualified practice accountant (ACCA/ACA).
- Wide range of audit experience
- Self-starter and committed to providing high-quality client service.
- Experience managing a portfolio of small to large clients
- Understanding of FRS 102, IFRS, and Group consolidation.
- Commercially minded with a clear perception of client requirements
- Confident and professional
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ambitious and resilient mindset
