Summary: ProLift Rigging Company is a national leader in full-service rigging and transportation solutions, and they are actively seeking a Junior Application Developer. The role involves developing, integrating, and maintaining systems to support the company's core business functions, while collaborating with various teams to create scalable technical solutions. Responsibilities: - Provide operational support for existing systems, infrastructure, and connections to assist internal users and customers - Develop new internal applications, pipelines, and integrations, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues as needed - Connect new and existing organizational platforms to ensure technical footprint meets operational requirements - Collaborate with the Business Intelligence department by contributing to process documentation, requirements gathering, and continuous improvement initiatives - Coordinate with outsourced IT on network, hardware, and information security projects as required - Actively work alongside branches, other departments, and the Strategic Leadership Team to create meaningful solutions Required Qualifications: - Familiarity with object-oriented programming - Basic proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#) - Fundamental understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or similar) - Knowledge of RESTful APIs and basic API authentication - Experience with relational databases and standard query languages - Strong problem-solving skills with a drive for researching and identifying solutions - Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders - Bachelor's degree in related field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, etc.) - 0-2 years of relevant experience Required Skills: Object-oriented programming, Modern programming language, Web development technologies Important Skills: RESTful APIs, Relational databases Nice-to-Have Skills: Collaborative skills Benefits: Competitive salary, Bonus program that pays for performance, 401(k), Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, Vacation and Holiday Pay, Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, Other additional personal and professional benefits are available.
