Delivery and Install Technician at The Lioce Group in Pelham, AL

TLG is hiring a Delivery and Install Technician to join our growing service team. This role involves providing assigned customers with timely efficient and safe delivery of new equipment while maintaining a positive, friendly and patient attitude to ensure excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Must possess current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must have a clean and neat appearance.
• High school diploma or GED
• Computer and Networking Knowledge
• Ability to manage time and stay on task while following a delivery schedule
• Ability to stand long period of time, drive distances up to 2+ hours away, operate an automated stair climber (with assistance), work in confined spaces, grasping, lifting up to 50+ lbs, kneeling and crouching.
• Ability to push and slightly lift heavy equipment

Essential Functions:

• Drive box truck or van to customer destination to deliver equipment or supplies
• Install equipment and network (Direct, Via Server, or Via USB), download drivers, and other technical set up and troubleshooting
• Inspect truck for issues/problems before and after trips and report issues to service management
• Fill out and double check all delivery and return paperwork, turn in each day
• Assist with supply deliveries, pulling of supply orders, UPS shipments and other warehouse duties as assigned by management
• Communicate effectively with all parties involved to ensure safe, timely and correct deliveries
• Provide basic equipment and installation training to end users at customer site
