Job Description
Summary: The J.M. Smucker Co. is a Fortune 500 company dedicated to providing a world-class internship experience. As an Operations QA Intern, you will work closely with manufacturing technicians to collect data and understand manufacturing processes, while also managing projects and documenting results.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with manufacturing technicians on the production floor to collect data and understand manufacturing processes
- Prepare standard reports and documentation to communicate results
- Collect, analyze, and utilize data to recommend improvements while interfacing with salaried employees and technicians
- Develop and update program documentation
Required Qualifications:
- A rising junior or senior standing in school with requisite educational experience in a science field or engineering
- A well-rounded skill set including the ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Must be able to work in both an office and plant environment and comply with all safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Food Science or Industrial or Chemical Engineering is preferred
