Summary: The Home Depot is a leading home improvement retailer, and they are seeking Customer Service/Sales associates. The role involves providing fast and friendly service, assisting customers with their needs, and maintaining a safe and organized shopping environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance
- Learn about products using our tools, and provide information to customers in order to sell an entire project
- Learn how to greet, qualify, recommend and close every customer in their department
- Know how to handle basics in adjacent departments
- Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, and ensure it is clean, shop-able, and safe
- Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards
- Complete specified safety training
- Immediately correct hazards & unsafe conditions or report conditions to the Manager on Duty
- Work safely as not to endanger themselves, co-workers, vendors, or customers
- Work in cooperation with their Department Supervisor and other associates in their department as well as other departments
Required Qualifications:
