Job Description
The Sr. Technician I is responsible for performing maintenance activities and oversight of maintenance projects assigned to him/her at THC main base, including on time completion, on time departure and availability of the Operator’s aircraft. Ensuring compliance of aircraft standards with OEM manuals, maintenance documentation completion, Repair Station facilities and regular reporting to the Maintenance Assistance Managers and other THC Stakeholders depending on the maintenance base locations.
Job Requirements:
- Must be willing and able to permanently relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and work on a full-time contract at THC Main Base.
- Must hold a valid GACA, A&P, EASA Part-66, ICAO/FAA, or equivalent Aircraft Maintenance License.
- The Aircraft Maintenance License must have been held for a minimum of four (4) years from its original date of issue and must have at least six (6) months of remaining validity at the time of application.
- Must have successfully completed an approved AW139 Airframe and Engine Type Rating, including both theoretical and practical training, and successfully passed all required assessments.
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of aircraft maintenance experience on the AW139, including at least one (1) year of experience within the last three (3) years.
- Must be currently active on the AW139, with hands-on aircraft maintenance experience within the last six (6) months.
Qualifications:
- GACA License/GACA Repairman Certificate.
- Equivalent EASA/FAA/ICAO Type II License (If non-GACA Licensed). (Minimum of four (4) years from its original date of issue)
- AW139 Airframe and Engine Type Rating, including both theoretical and practical training, and successfully passed all required assessments.
Experience & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Technician on AW139.
- Previous experience as a Part 145 rostered.
- Good knowledge of organizational procedures.
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Exercise the privileges of his certificate and rating.
- Applicants are required to submit evidence of their qualifications, including a valid Aircraft Maintenance License, AW139 Type Rating Certificate, evidence of current/recent maintenance experience on the AW139, and any relevant training certificates or qualifications.
Main Responsibilities:
- Promote SMS reporting using the THC safety management systems in place.
- Recommendation of engineering safety practices, ensure use of PPE and advising any deficiencies.
- Report any hangar facility deficiencies/defect to the Line Manager and/or through the safety management system as required.
- All maintenance, preventative maintenance and/or alterations are carried out correctly using current approved technical data.
- Make sure compliance with the RSQCM, GMM and TODPM Work Instructions at all times.
- Ensure the required engineering standards, aircraft maintenance documentation completion is carried out correctly.
- Attend/perform daily toolbox talks and aircraft Team briefings on assigned maintenance projects.
- Attend weekly production planning meetings as required to report on hangar maintenance activities, advising on specific manning, tooling, test equipment and parts requirements.
- Ensure all removed aircraft components are labelled, protected, and stored correctly for aircraft under maintenance.
- Identify and advise Line Manager of staff training needs.
- Promote Teamwork, staff discipline, wearing of company provided uniform and corporateidentity.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to work and information.
