Job Description
Summary: The Health Management Academy (THMA) brings together health system leaders and innovators to address the industry's challenges. The Summer Internship Program offers interns hands-on projects and professional development opportunities while engaging with THMA's leadership to gain insights into career progression.
Responsibilities:
- Partnering closely with THMA Marketing and Sales team to expand and enhance the contact database to further grow the membership community
- Working with leaders across the Member Development team to centralize Marketing collateral and improve current internal templates and process documents
- Gain basic working knowledge of Salesforce to support data hygiene as well as logging notes in support of member engagement activities
- Research companies, health systems, and contacts to support campaign prioritization for sales and marketing teams
- Assist with other Member Development projects as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree, preferably entering Junior or Senior year
- Experience working on multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in-office two days per week (Arlington, VA)
- An interest in healthcare or the healthcare industry is a plus
- Ability to work in a 10-week internship program starting Tuesday, June 9th, 2026
- Collaborative and team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills from planning through execution
- Comfortable working independently while knowing when to ask for guidance
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and resourceful with a willingness to learn new tools and processes
