About the Role:

The Great Greek in San Antonio, TX is looking for a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team! Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute menu items according to The Great Greek's recipes and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout each shift
• Operate grills, fryers, sauté stations, and other kitchen equipment safely and proficiently
• Monitor food freshness, portion control, and presentation consistency
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth, timely ticket execution during service
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations
• Assist with prep work, inventory, and restocking as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Knowledge of food safety practices and ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Passion for food quality and attention to detail in plating and preparation

Compensation: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
