Responsibilities: - Tracking plant performance and finding and implement solutions for improvement - Collaborate on the updates and creation of specifications and procedures - Learn the basics of rubber compounding in a corporate and manufacturing environment - Support operation of the equipment to ensure quality and consistency - Design new dies and splice bars to optimize the extrusion process - Work on curing optimization for existing and new tires by completing thermocouple and blow point studies - Review tire quality data to assess uniformity and balance performance and drive improvement projects Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in the following areas: Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or any other relevant area - Minimum 3.0 overall GPA required - Mobility & availability for relocation out of state required - Incoming freshman level or higher - Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Required Skills: Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering Important Skills: Material Science, Leadership Nice-to-Have Skills: Communication Skills, Fast-paced Environment
