AutoCAD Draftsman at The Floorist in Dubai

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman to prepare accurate technical drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and detailed drawings for flooring and interior fit-out projects. The candidate should have strong AutoCAD skills, good attention to detail, and preferably experience working in the UAE flooring or fit-out industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings, layouts, and shop drawings for flooring and interior fit-out projects.
• Prepare flooring layouts for LVT, SPC, vinyl, carpet, parquet, engineered wood, and other flooring materials.
• Review architectural drawings, plans, and project specifications to understand project requirements.
• Prepare flooring plans, installation layouts, patterns, details, and sections as required.
• Take dimensions and measurements from drawings and site information.
• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and material calculations when required.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Estimators, Sales Teams, and Installation Teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Revise drawings based on client, consultant, or project team comments.
• Ensure drawings are prepared according to project specifications and required standards.
• Maintain proper records and organized files of drawings and revisions.
• Assist the estimation/project team with technical drawings and quantity calculations.
• Coordinate with site teams to resolve drawing-related issues during installation.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate and submitted within project deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience in flooring, interior fit-out, construction, or related industries is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand architectural and technical drawings.
• Experience preparing shop drawings and detailed layouts.
• Knowledge of quantity take-offs and measurements is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,200.00 per month
