Job Description
Multimedia / ACT Prep (Reading & English) Teacher
General responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Teach journalism class and produce multimedia projects, including the yearboakk with students
- Teach students how to create marketing materials including flyers, videos, and photos
- Teach students how to maintain school website and social media pages
- Use students to promote and produce content about school-wide events
- Teach ACT Prep course to improve students' reading and English writing skills
Qualified candidates have:
- Ability and desire to continue to grow and learn
- Bachelor's Degree required in communications, journalism, English, or related field
- Willingness to become an ACT Certified teacher
- Some experience in videography and photography
- Knowledge of Adobe software (ie. Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
- Ability to diagnose, repair and maintain hardware and software components
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability and desire to continue to grow and learn
A portfolio or demonstration of knowledge is required.
