About Coeur d’Alene Resort:
Our resort prides itself on impeccable cleanliness and guest satisfaction. We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented janitor to oversee the Lobby and ensure all areas meet our high standards.
The Role: The Lobby Attendant is responsible for maintaining a welcoming, clean, and organized lobby environment while delivering exceptional guest service. This role serves as a first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a positive first and last impression of the resort.
This is a part-time seasonal role, May-September, mid-shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide directional assistance throughout the resort
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the lobby, entrances, and adjacent public areas to include restrooms.
- Assist guests with general inquiries, amenities information, and resort services
- Coordinate with Front Desk, Bell Services, Housekeeping, and Security as needed
- Monitor lobby activity and report safety or maintenance concerns promptly
- Support crowd flow during peak check-in/check-out times and special events
- Assist with light logistical tasks (e.g., distributing maps, setting up signage, restocking materials)
- Uphold resort standards for professionalism, hospitality, appearance and cleanliness.
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrate proactive hospitality and anticipate guest needs
- Handle guest concerns courteously and escalate issues appropriately
- Maintain a calm, friendly demeanor in high-traffic or high-pressure situations
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (15,000 – 20,000 steps per shift)
- Ability to regularly lift 20lbs and up to 50lbs as needed.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed.
