The Plant Intern position involves utilizing Engineering, Accounting, and Organizational tools to optimize various departments and lead small scale projects focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reductions. Responsibilities: - Meet all plant and company metric goals for Safety, Quality, Efficiency, and Costs - Day-to-day communications with partners, customers, stakeholders, and others - Shadow operators on roles or unit ops as required for assigned workstreams - Lead small scale capital projects (Capital Project Management (ORW – One Right Way) - Contractor Management - Operational Readiness - Training & Qualification - Lead minor non-capital projects - Participate in CI, OPEX, manufacturing trials, Kaizen, or AR as a technical resource - Participate in root cause analyses (BDA, RCFA, etc.) - Perform drawing updates (P&ID, 2D layouts, etc.) Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree school program - Currently pursuing advanced education in Engineering, Sciences, Technology, and Management, or relevant field of study - Sophomores & Juniors preferred - Minimum of a 3.0 GPA or higher - Attention to detail - Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills - Must be highly motivated and assertive with a strong commitment to success - Self-starter with a 'Can Do' attitude - Willingness to try new ideas - Demonstrated safety awareness and priority - Ability to accept guidance and learn from experiences - Hands-on, should expect :30-50% or more of the time to be spent on the floor - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) - Must have good people skills and be team-oriented (member/leader) - Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization Preferred Qualifications: - Manufacturing experience desired - High-Speed manufacturing experience is a plus Required Skills: Accounting, Organizational tools, Change management, Continuous Improvement, Root cause analysis, Safety awareness, Manufacturing experience, High-Speed manufacturing, Analytical skills, Project management Benefits: Competitive compensation, Generous 401(k) program in the US and similar programs in international, Health benefits and programs that support both your physical and mental well-being, Flexible work environment, depending on your role, Meaningful opportunities to keep learning and growing, Half-day Fridays, depending on your location
