The role involves conducting exploratory data analysis, preparing datasets, designing solutions, and collaborating with team members and stakeholders. Responsibilities: - Conduct exploratory data analysis: - Prepare datasets for ingestion into our ML models - Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data into structured formats suitable for machine learning models - Design and prototype Solutions: - Develop end-to-end ML and data science solutions from idea conception through deployment from planning, requirements, design, development, testing, and evaluation - Cross-Collaborate: - Work closely with our ML and Data Engineering team members and business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand project goals - Present findings, insights, and technical results to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative disciplines - 1+ years of data science and machine learning coursework / practical experience. Previous internship or business experience (1:2 years) preferred - Strong understanding and experience with ML models and ML engineering, advanced statistics, time series forecasting.
