Job Description
Summary: The Clorox Company is committed to growth for its people and brands. They are seeking a Data Analytics Intern to support manufacturing operations by analyzing production data and providing actionable insights to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and organize data from production systems, ERP, and quality control databases
- Analyze manufacturing KPIs such as throughput, downtime, scrap rates, and cycle times
- Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to monitor plant performance
- Assist in root cause analysis for production issues using statistical methods
- Support predictive analytics projects (e.g., machine maintenance, demand forecasting)
- Document findings and present insights to operations and leadership teams
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and operational KPIs
