Summary: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to assist with data requests and support product managers. The role involves using Power BI for data visualization, SQL for data queries, and effective communication with various stakeholders to enhance understanding and resolve issues. Responsibilities: - Fulfill ad hoc data requests using Power BI dashboards and direct data warehouse queries - Familiarity with intermediate SQL concepts, including experience with CTEs, aggregate functions, and joins - Document all work items in Azure DevOps and follow development processes - Communicate effectively with users in the field, product managers, and software developers to ensure all parties thoroughly understand issues - Work with product managers to help inform them of issues, bugs, and ideas for improvement - Maintain professional work habits. (Answer emails, be present in meetings, etc.) Required Qualifications: - Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy - Currently enrolled in a college or university or have graduated within the past year - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including: Excel, Word, and Outlook - Highly organized and self-motivated - Quick learner of software applications - Good written and verbal communication skills are a must as this position will be helping end users understand the product and helping to produce new product feature requests - Team player - Understand how to use remote work tools, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, etc - Must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter Preferred Qualifications: - Fluent in English; Spanish, Portuguese, or other language is preferred Required Skills: Power BI, SQL Important Skills: Microsoft Office Nice-to-Have Skills: Quick learner, Fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese
