Hours: PRN role up to 20 hours per week; occasional weekend coverage.

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner delivers primary and specialty patient care, assessing needs, creating and managing personal care plans, and advocating for patients and partners within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes for our clients. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner are responsible for assessing and diagnosing patients, prescribing medications, and managing health conditions. You will have the opportunity to educate clients on how to make healthy lifestyle choices. This is a high-impact, patient-facing role which involves delivering compassionate and empathetic in-person, telephonic and video-based (telehealth) patient engagement and monitoring. As part of an interdisciplinary team, The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care, comply with all regulatory and safety standards, and participate in quality improvement and staff education initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or Doctorate in Nursing Practice from an accredited institution required.
- At least two years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in substance use disorders (SUDs) and/or mental health
- Current state licensure
- Board Certified PMHNP
- Controlled Substance / DEA Certification
- First Aid / CPR Certification
- CPI Certification
