Job Description
HR Manager Spinning Mill
Location: Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu
Industry: Textile / Spinning
Experience: Minimum 8–12 Years
Function: Human Resources / Industrial Relations
CTC: Maximum gross up to 45 K PM
The candidate should have hands-on experience in managing HR operations in a manufacturing/textile/spinning environment and be capable of implementing HR policies effectively at the shop-floor level.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HR policies, procedures, SOPs, and systems across the spinning mill.
- Ensure effective communication and adherence to HR policies by employees and supervisors.
- Manage manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, induction, and deployment.
- Monitor attendance, absenteeism, shift schedules, overtime, leave, and workforce discipline.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, domestic enquiries, and employee relations.
- Maintain harmonious industrial relations with employees and worker representatives, wherever applicable.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, incentives, deductions, and leave.
- Manage employee welfare activities including canteen, transport, accommodation, uniforms, sanitation, and other facilities, as applicable.
- Identify training needs and coordinate induction, behavioural, technical, and supervisory training.
- Implement performance management and appraisal processes.
- Prepare and analyse HR MIS covering manpower, absenteeism, attrition, overtime, recruitment, training, grievances, and compliance.
- Conduct periodic HR audits to identify gaps in policy implementation and take corrective action.
- Develop and implement HR SOPs, checklists, formats, and employee communication systems.
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Administration, and Plant Management teams on workforce-related matters.
- Support management in improving employee retention, discipline, productivity, and workforce stability.
Candidate Profile
- MBA/PG Diploma in HR, MSW, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 8–12 years of relevant HR experience.
- Experience in spinning, textile, garment, manufacturing, or other labour-intensive industries preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in HR policy implementation and shop-floor HR operations.
- Experience managing a large workforce and shift-based operations.
- Good knowledge of industrial relations and statutory compliance.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and people-management skills.
- Tamil communication skills are essential.
