Responsibilities: - Experience how the latest innovative technologies are developed, built and optimized as a product, test or validation engineer - Work with TI teams, customers and external partners around the world to design, build, qualify and support our industry-leading analog and embedded processing products - As a product, test and validation engineer, you play a vital role in assuring the quality and performance of TI's innovative IC products - From test software and hardware development, product debugging and test optimization – you help ensure our products are consistently competitive and leading in the market - In each of these roles you'll dive deeper into manufacturing, quality, design verification or validation engineering - In this role, you'll support the development and implementation of strategies that achieve profitability targets on assigned TI product lines through new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield enhancement projects - You'll serve as the primary point of contact for all operational aspects related to your assigned product portfolio, resolve customer quality and application issues, and facilitates cross-functional teams for problem solving - You'll also take a leadership role to establish relationships with key contacts in TI wafer fabrication and assembly manufacturing sites to ensure strong communication and effective problem solving Required Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field - Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher Preferred Qualifications: - Basic understanding of schematics, layouts and digital components - Knowledge and understanding of analog circuitry (examples include: op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, sensing, etc.) - Programming skills in C/C++ (LabView recommended) - Experience with lab equipment, like oscilloscopes, along with soldering and debugging skills - Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes - Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions - Ability to take the initiative and drive for results - Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery Required Skills: Data analysis, Manufacturing systems, Product qualification, Reliability testing, Device failure verification, Test engineering, Automated test equipment, Hardware design, Software development, Verification, validation, Bench setup, Validation engineering, Schematic understanding, Digital components, Analog circuitry, C programming, C++ programming, LabView, Oscilloscope usage, Soldering, Debugging, Analytical skills Benefits: Competitive pay and benefits designed to help you and your family live your best life
