Summary: Tesla is a leading electric vehicle and clean energy company. They are seeking a Training Intern to support the development, coordination, and delivery of training programs that impact workforce readiness and production quality at Gigafactory Texas. Responsibilities: - Support scheduling and coordination of Instructor-Led Training (ILT), On-the-Job Training (OJT), shop-specific onboarding, and pilot sessions - Manage rosters, attendance, and certification tracking in Tesla’s LMS - Assist instructors during live training, observe sessions, capture improvement opportunities, and document feedback - Compile training metrics such as participation, certification status, and seat hours - Support analysis of quality indicators tied to training (FPY improvements, error modes, operator drift insights) - Review dashboards and weekly reports in Excel, Presentation, and SharePoint to support leadership visibility - Assist in evaluating training effectiveness and operational KPIs - Help create or update training materials including facilitator guides, learner guides, assessments, SOP-aligned job aids, and task-based checklists - Apply Adult Learning Theory, Bloom’s taxonomy, and performance-based learning design to enhance content quality - Collaborate with subject matter experts from Production, Quality, and Engineering to ensure technical accuracy Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in program in Education, HR, Organizational Development, Communications, Engineering, Business, Psychology, or a related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; ability to work with data and dashboards - Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable navigating a fast-moving environment - Passion for training, learning development, and manufacturing operations Preferred Qualifications: - Experience creating presentations, charts, and graphs - Familiarity with Adult Learning Theory, Kirkpatrick's Four Levels, Phillips ROI Model, ADDIE, and Bloom's Taxonomy - Exposure to manufacturing environments or technical training programs - Experience with an LMS and data visualization tools such as Power BI or ZipLabs Required Skills: Training program development, Data analysis, Excel proficiency Important Skills: Adult Learning Theory, LMS experience Nice-to-Have Skills: Manufacturing exposure, communication skills, Detail-oriented, Presentation skills Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction, Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits, Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans.
