Job Description

Summary: Tesla is a leading electric vehicle manufacturer seeking an intern for their Digital Modeling team at the Design Studio. The intern will primarily bridge design and engineering, developing high-quality digital prototypes for vehicles while learning to interpret and define design intent through 3D modeling.

Responsibilities:
- Learn to develop 3D forms from 2D sketches and renderings
- Analyze engineering criteria to aid in design surface development
- Develop surface modeling techniques using Tesla standards
- Support managing the organization and release of Vehicle Design data

Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Architecture, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
- Strong experience with CAD modeling
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proven ability to deliver results on challenging projects with tight deadlines
