They are seeking a Robotics Engineering Intern to contribute to meaningful projects within the Robotics team, focusing on design, development, and testing of robotics systems. Responsibilities: - Be part of the Robotics team at Genie - Own a robotics project from beginning to end – design, develop, prototype, and test - Example projects could include designing a mechanical automated system or coding an AI agent to control a robot - Collaborate directly with customers by bringing prototypes to job sites, gathering feedback, and refining real-world applications - Work cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to seamlessly integrate robotics into Genie’s product ecosystem - Explore advanced technologies, including motion control, sensor fusion, and AI-based perception systems, to enhance product capabilities Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing an ABET accredited engineering bachelor's degree or higher in robotics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar field or a bachelor's degree in computer science - Able to work full-time 40 hours per week for 3 or 6 months, in-person in Redmond, WA - Proven experience in robotics, mechatronics, programming, electrical engineering, or automation - Strong collaboration and communication skills - Ability and interest in working in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: - Interest in joining the Engineering Leadership Development Program after graduation - Previous robotics internships or club experience (ie.
