Tower Technician at TEP in Phoenix, AZ

Summary: Tower Engineering Professionals is seeking a full-time employee for a Tower Technician in our Phoenix, AZ location. This entry-level position involves outdoor activities and requires performing inspections and providing customer service on telecommunications towers.

Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, tower mappings and post construction inspections on telecommunications towers
- Ability to travel up to five days a week out of town
- Must have a labor-intensive attitude and be capable of climbing towers, water tanks or rooftops, and the physical ability and willingness to scan, probe, dig and drill to obtain foundation dimensions and steel reinforcement on guyed, SST, and Monopole Towers
- Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner
- Adhere to all company and industry standard/regulations (OSHA, COMTRAIN, etc.)
- Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work
- Review peer work product

Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings that include background and drug testing
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results oriented
- Must be at least 21 years old
- have a valid driver's license
- a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle

Preferred Qualifications:
- One year general construction experience preferred but not required
- some cell tower industry experience highly preferred
