They are seeking a UI/UX Research Intern to support design and product teams in conducting user research initiatives and synthesizing findings into actionable insights. Responsibilities: - Support the design and product teams in planning and executing user research initiatives - Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing sessions - Assist in synthesizing qualitative and quantitative research findings - Create research reports, journey maps, personas, and user insights documentation - Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Engineering teams - Help translate research insights into actionable recommendations - Participate in design critiques and product discussions - Contribute to improving research processes, documentation, and best practices Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Cognitive Science, UX Design, Information Science, or related field - Strong interest in user research, usability, and user center design - Familiarity with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods - Experience with tools such as Figma, Miro, Notion, Google Forms, or similar - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to synthesize insights and present findings clearly Preferred Qualifications: - Portfolio or examples of research projects (academic or professional) preferred Required Skills: User research, Usability testing, Qualitative research methods Important Skills: Figma, Communication skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Portfolio of research projects Benefits: Paid internship experience, Founder and leadership speaker sessions, Dedicated mentorship and cross-functional networking, Industry and market education sessions, Career development workshops (resume review, mock interviews, interview prep), Team-building events and intern socials, Lunch & Learns with company leaders, In-office perks including snacks and beverages
