Job Description
The Manager Finance will lead the Record-to-Report (R2R) function, ensure book keeping and accounting activities, timely statutory and regulatory compliances, and financial reporting. The role requires accurate and timely monthly and annual book closures in line with Ind AS.
The incumbent will drive compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations, manage audits, strengthen internal financial controls, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to policies of AR/AP processes. Additionally, the role partners with cross-functional teams deliver insights and drive process improvements and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting and Book-keeping:
- Oversee accounting and book-keeping activities
- Review monthly accruals, provisions, and journal entries
- Lead month-end and year-end closure activities
- Ensure accuracy in AR balances and reconciliations
- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and audit schedules
Receivables & Collections Management:
- Own end-to-end Order to Cash (O2C) process
- Drive collections, monitor overdue accounts, and reduce DSO
- Ensure invoicing accuracy and timely collections
- Manage customer credit control and risk assessment
- Oversee customer master data, KYC, and agreements
Compliance and Taxation:
- Ensure GST compliance including returns and reconciliations
- Ensure TDS/TCS accounting and Form 26AS reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act and Income Tax regulations
- Coordinate with consultants and handle notices/assessments
Audit Management:
- Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits
- Act as SPOC for auditors
- Ensure timely closure of audit queries
- Strengthen internal financial controls (IFC)
- Handle due diligence and special audits
Collaboration:
Work closely with Sales, Operations, IT, and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
Qualifications:
Education: Chartered Accountant
Experience: Minimum 2 to 5years of post-qualification experience,
Skills:
- Strong accounting knowledge in INDAS / IGAAP.
- Strong R2R, P2P, O2C process knowledge
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and audits
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to lead teams and manage stakeholders
