Summary: Tencent is a global leader in interactive entertainment, and they are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer Intern to assist in the execution of multiple games across the globe. The role involves leveraging software engineering skills to solve complex production challenges and collaborate with teams to enhance game reliability. Responsibilities: - Insatiable desire to eliminate toil by building tooling or automating away repetitive tasks or building cloud native solutions that will proactively mitigate problems before they arise - Collaborate closely with fellow engineers, studios representatives while maintaining a strong working relationship based on trust, respect and empathy - Design and implement new technical product solutions with the SRE team and various stakeholders - Analyze, research and document new technical solutions to meet the needs of Tencent Games Required Qualifications: - Working towards a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering and a strong record of academic achievement with an anticipated graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring of 2027 - Fluent in one or more programming languages (e.g. Go, Python, Java, C++, etc) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Highly motivated, self-learner, and technically inquisitive - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong interest in developing cloud native engineering skills Preferred Qualifications: - Familiar with Linux and Container Schedulers (Kubernetes) is a plus - Experience with online computer / mobile / console games is a plus - Experiences with AI technologies is a plus Required Skills: Programming languages, Cloud native engineering, Linux, Container Schedulers, Analytical skills Benefits: 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, Up to 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, Eligible to enroll in the Company-sponsored medical plan
