Job Description
Summary: Temenos is a global leader in banking technology, dedicated to modernizing the banking industry. As a Graduate Test Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of financial software solutions while developing your testing expertise in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Execute test cases and document results for various software applications, including those with Graphical User Interface (GUI) components
- Participate in the categorizing and classifying of defects, ensuring clear and concise reporting
- Assist in the collection and analysis of data related to software performance and defects
- Contribute to the documentation and modeling of user requirements to inform test strategy
- Support IT testing activities, including functional, integration, and regression testing
- Utilize data management and database reporting tools for tracking and analysis
- Perform program installation and configuration as required for testing environments
- Manage test documentation and related files within a File Management System
- Contribute to version control processes for test assets and software builds
- Assist in metadata management for test data and artifacts
- Develop basic Application Development skills to understand software architecture
- Utilize information retrieval techniques to support testing efforts
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrated proficiency in Computer Skills
- Basic understanding of Application Development concepts
- Familiarity with data collection and analysis methodologies
- Knowledge of document management principles
- Exposure to File Management Systems
- Awareness of Graphical User Interface (GUI) testing
- Basic understanding of IT Testing concepts
- Ability to learn and apply skills in Categorizing and Classifying information
- Eagerness to develop skills in Database Reporting, Data Management, Document and Model User Requirements, Information Retrieval, Metadata Management, Program Installation, and Versioning
