Job Description
Summary: Temenos is a global leader in banking technology, dedicated to modernizing the banking industry. The role of Graduate Product Software Development Engineer involves contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of financial software products, while applying technical skills to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Develop and maintain robust applications, focusing on Application Development best practices
- Conduct thorough IT Testing and contribute to the Assessment of software quality and performance
- Categorize and Classify information effectively for various system components
- Utilize strong Computer Skills to navigate and develop within complex technical environments
- Generate Database Reporting and contribute to Data Collection and Analysis for informed decision-making
- Implement and manage Data Management strategies to ensure data integrity and security
- Document and Model User Requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications
- Maintain accurate Document Management and File Management System processes
- Design and implement intuitive Graphical User Interfaces (GUI)
- Perform Information Retrieval tasks efficiently to support development and troubleshooting
- Manage Metadata Management for various software assets
- Assist with Program Installation and Versioning of software releases
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in Application Development principles and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to perform Assessment and Categorizing and Classifying I tasks
- Excellent Computer Skills and familiarity with various operating systems and development tools
- Experience with Database Reporting, Data Collection and Analysis, and Data Management concepts
- Ability to Document and Model User Requirements effectively
- Understanding of Document Management and File Management System principles
- Familiarity with Graphical User Interface (GUI) design and development
- Aptitude for Information Retrieval and Metadata Management
- Knowledge of IT Testing methodologies
- Experience with Program Installation and Versioning control systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
