Job Description
Summary: Temenos is a leading core banking technology company that powers a world of banking for billions of people and businesses. They are seeking four Software Engineer Interns to join their product development team, providing hands-on experience in developing banking software products used by financial institutions worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- You will support the development and enhancement of core banking and financial software solutions
- You will assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software components
- You will work with senior engineers and product teams to understand business and technical requirements
- You will contribute to new features, bug fixes, and performance improvements
- You will write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
- You will participate in code reviews, team meetings, and agile ceremonies
- You will help with unit testing, integration testing, and basic troubleshooting
- You will learn and apply secure coding principles relevant to banking and financial systems
- You will document technical learnings and contribute to shared development resources
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a university student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- You should have knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or similar)
- You should have familiarity with software development fundamentals (data structures, APIs, version control)
- You should have exposure to Git or other source control tools is a plus
- You should have interest in fintech, banking systems, or enterprise software development
- You should have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- You should have ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team
- Motivated to learn and grow in a professional software engineering environment
