Job Description
Summary: Teladoc Health is leading the next evolution of virtual care, empowering employees to help millions live healthier lives. The Associate, Full Stack Developer will focus on building tools and solutions that enhance developer productivity and support efficient software delivery, collaborating closely with various engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a nimble, passionate team, collaborating closely with development, support, DevOps, and senior engineering teams
- Develop new tools, utilities, and solutions that directly or indirectly improve developer efficiency throughout the SDLC process
- Work with DevOps engineers to understand, build, and support CI/CD and Kubernetes development patterns
- Maintain and create development standards, technical documentation, and repeatable processes, while helping formulate ways to drive and enforce adoption
- Collaborate with senior engineers to promote enterprise standards and secure development practices across the broader development community
- Apply strong analytical and investigative skills to identify technical challenges, evaluate root causes, and determine effective solutions
- Demonstrate ownership and engagement in the product, mission, and overall success of the team
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering)
- Demonstrated experience delivering one or more significant full-stack web development projects completed independently (outside of academic coursework)
- At least 1 year of professional experience developing backend services using Java
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience developing and deploying Kubernetes-based applications, using modern CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a startup environment, including internships or early-stage companies
- Experience using Git in a collaborative, team-based development environment (e.g., pull requests, code reviews, branching strategies)
