General Description:
The Contract Order Specialist II within the Middle Office (MO) is responsible for ensuring the accurate setup and maintenance of client orders as they enter MO. This role involves collaborating with various teams to manage the review and setup of multiple Express order and Express Assignment types. The Contract Order Specialist will be essential in reducing risks by ensuring strict adherence to contract terms and processing of orders and assignments within tight timeframes to ensure set up is done to meet payroll and revenue generation SLA’s.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up of Orders and Assignments including but not limited to): Time & Material, Time & Material not to exceed, Services time and materials including the finishing steps required in fusion by required daily and weekly SLA’s.
- Manual review of pending orders and set up of order and assignment by required daily SLA.
- Management of Order level risk process (for contractual/MSA) and initial setup of assignment risk.
- Utilize CRG T/M maintenance/comparison report for specific order types.
- Set up and correction of middle office objects as needed.
- Cross-functional support with sales, contracts negotiation team, and front office sales support. for contract-specific items and any non-escalated feedback for one-off adjustments required to MO Objects. Cross functional support with Billing team for any billing related issues.
- Post Conversion, manually update Express Objects data attributes necessary for completion of processes and accurate set up for payroll as well as invoice generation.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:
- Intermediate ability to analyze contract terms.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in using data analysis tools and generating reports (MO Dashboard).
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address issues related to contract and order setup.
- Ability to think critically and develop solutions to mitigate risks.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Required Education and/or Experience:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred.
- Proven communication, problem solving, conflict management, decision-making skills.
- Seeking 3-5 years of total work experience.
- Preference servicing existing Canadian customers.
- Prior contract review experience preferred.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Successful track record of providing quality customer service.
- If applying internally, must be a Sr. BOA or equivalent in level and at least 9 months in current role.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage time, multi-task and excel in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Consistently displays high character and a strong work ethic.
Compensation:
$55k-$65k per year. ($3k less in Jax due to cola in Tempe & Hanover) + $5k bonus eligibility (paid quarterly)

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
