Role & responsibilities

• Experience in SAP Business Objects Data Services v4 x or any latest version of ETL Tools
• Strong hands-on Experience in BODS design and architecture as technical developer
• Sound Knowledge of SQL
• Experience in BODS scripting and Batch scripting.
• Good analytical skills to solve ETL issues and fix them independently. Hands on experience in using SAP BODS to extract structured/ unstructured data from different source systems into HANA.
• Experience on BODS data transformations
• Experience in integration with different system like SAP Applications, HANA, and RDBMS source systems and/or Cloud Platforms Azure/AWS, Snowflake
• Experience in working with BODS 4 x use cases with Non-SAP Sources, SAP ECC, CRM, BW, HANA
• Knowledge of Data Quality and cleansing.
• Should have worked on SAP DS Designer Components-Jobs, Workflows, Data flows, ABAP Data flows, File Formats, Data store and Scripts.
• Strong data integration background with hands-on experience with data migration using SAP BODS with IDOCs, BAPIs
• Sound knowledge of BODS scheduling and monitoring.
• SAP DS debugging and error handling experience.
• Should have knowledge on working with SAP system as source and target.
• Need to be proactive in highlighting the issues / risks.
• Experience in resolving integration issues, supports ad hoc data uploads, and implements change requests.
• Responsible for client and internal stakeholder management and facilitate/drive the implementation and support of SAP BODS
• Should be able to provide the estimation on BODS work effort.
• Should have strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts.

• Azure ADF and Snowflake Knowledge nice to have
• Experience in Fivetran and DBT
• Experience in Informatica Data Management Cloud
• Experience in Syndigo Riversand
• Good Experience on SAP Data migration strategy to migrate from ECC/Non-SAP to SAP S4 HANA as using SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS 4.x)
• Non-SAP use cases like Oracle, MS SQL and others
• Ability to understand cross functional data and domain(s)
• ABAP experience
• Experience working in a multi-technology environments
• Familiar with Agile methodology
• UC4 knowledge

SAP DS upgrade knowledge
