Summary: Tekion Corp is revolutionizing the automotive industry with its cloud-native platform. The Finance Intern will support the Finance team with financial analysis, reporting, and operational support, gaining hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis. Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses under the guidance of finance team members - Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including reconciliations and journal entry preparation - Help maintain financial models and dashboards for internal reporting and business planning - Conduct research and compile data to support budgeting and financial planning processes - Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and documentation of internal controls - Collaborate with cross-functional departments to gather financial data and insights - Learn and utilize finance systems and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP software, reporting tools) Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial systems or ERP tools is a plus - Interest in financial modeling, reporting, or planning and analysis - Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines - Eagerness to learn in a collaborative and fast-paced environment Required Skills: Financial analysis, Microsoft Excel Important Skills: Financial modeling, ERP tools Nice-to-Have Skills: Analytical skills
