Job Description:
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Production Support Analyst to support the Synthetic Prime platform. You will act as a key point of contact for the business, ensuring platform stability, managing incidents, and driving continuous improvement across production systems.
Key Responsibilities
Production Support & Incident Management
Provide L2 production support for Synthetic Prime and related applications
Lead incident triage, prioritization, escalation, and resolution
Own problem management including root cause analysis and remediation
Communicate incidents, risks, and outages clearly to stakeholders
Application Stability & Monitoring
Monitor system health and proactively prevent production issues
Improve application performance and resiliency
Troubleshoot application, system, and data integrity issues
Change & Release Management
Execute changes in line with ITIL governance
Support releases including deployment, validation, and rollback planning
Ensure minimal business impact during production changes
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner closely with Front Office trading desks and business users
Act as a primary contact for support queries and issue resolution
Provide timely updates and drive service improvements
Governance & Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce operational risk
Ensure adherence to enterprise risk and audit standards
Support control reviews and remediation efforts
Resilience & Recovery
Support disaster recovery planning and testing
Ensure compliance with DR/BCP requirements
Knowledge & Team Contribution
Maintain documentation and knowledge base
Support cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing
Requirements
Domain Expertise
Strong understanding of Prime Brokerage, Securities Lending, and Equity/Total Return Swaps
Familiarity with front office trading workflows and environments
Experience
7+ years of application / production support experience
Experience within financial services or trading environments
Technical Skills
Operating Systems: Linux (Red Hat), Windows Server
Databases: Oracle, MS SQL Server
Tools: Autosys, Splunk, Dynatrace
Cloud/Platforms: Azure, VMware
Languages: SQL, Python, Java
Data: ETL pipelines, Databricks, Azure Data Factory
Process & Methodology
Strong ITIL knowledge (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
Exposure to SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices
Behavioural Attributes
Strong ownership and ability to operate independently
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Client-focused with a continuous improvement mindset
Additional Information
Participation in on-call rotation and after-hours support required
