Summary: Tauck is a company seeking a Graphic Design Intern to provide hands-on support to their Creative team. The role involves assisting with the creation, updating, and production of digital and print materials while adhering to brand standards and contributing to various marketing initiatives. Responsibilities: - Create and update social media posts - Assist with the design of the annual calendar - Design select brochure spreads and support brochure production - Support eBrochure production, including linking and exporting files - Resize and optimize images for SEO and digital use - Assist with setting up new maps in updated design styles - Upload completed creative assets from previous years into Atlas - Support print and digital design needs across the Creative department - Adhere to Tauck brand standards across all materials - Retouch and prepare imagery for various platforms - Assist with maintaining brochure inventory - Help develop PowerPoint template pages for company use - Provide general design support as needed Required Qualifications: - Graphic Design Major - Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color and other graphic design fundamentals - Experience with Adobe suite of applications - Strong creative and analytical skills - Compelling portfolio of design skills Preferred Qualifications: - Interest in travel and the travel industry - Quick learner with the ability to multi-task - Accuracy to details and highly analytic - Practice good follow-through on tasks / assignments - Ability to learn database applications to complete various projects - Flexible with assigned tasks and adaptable to changes in a fast-paced work environment - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Presentation skills - Creative thinker - Proactive and enthusiastic attitude Required Skills: Graphic design fundamentals, Adobe Creative Suite, Typography, Layout design, Image retouching, SEO image optimization, PowerPoint template design, Analytical skills, Creative thinking
