Job Description
Summary: Tatari is on a mission to revolutionize TV advertising through AI and machine learning. They are seeking a Product Design Intern to conduct competitive analysis and collaborate with the design team to refine the Tatari Design System while gaining hands-on experience in product design.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct competitive analysis by researching and synthesizing how competitor products approach key UX patterns, presenting findings that inform design decisions and keep the team sharp on industry trends
- Partner with the design team to audit, refine, and document components in the Tatari Design System, ensuring consistency and usability across the product
- Create user flows, wireframes, and mockups to communicate ideas at the right level of fidelity
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers throughout the design process
- Participate in critiques, brainstorms, and design thinking exercises
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in UX, product design, HCI, or a related field. You are currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program and will return after the summer internship
- Familiar with Figma and comfortable using it to explore and communicate ideas
- Detail-oriented with a developing sense of visual hierarchy and layout
- A strong communicator who welcomes feedback and asks good questions
- Genuinely curious about users and motivated to understand their needs
- Comfortable using AI tools and leveraging them to accelerate research, synthesize information, and explore ideas faster — and curious about how AI is shaping the future of product design
- A portfolio or 1–2 case studies showcasing your design thinking and process — student or personal projects are welcome
- A resume that speaks to the skills above
