Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using webMethods Integration Server.
• Build and maintain services, flows, adapters, and APIs.
• Develop integrations using Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, MWS, and API Gateway.
• Configure and manage webMethods packages, deployment, and monitoring activities.
• Create interfaces using SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and EDI standards.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize performance.
• Work closely with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams.
• Support production environments and handle incident management.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to integration best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation and deployment guides.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Software AG webMethods Suite.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Integration Server (IS)
• Designer
• Trading Networks (TN)
• Universal Messaging (UM)
• My webMethods Server (MWS)
• API Gateway
• Experience in creating SOAP and REST Web Services.
• Good knowledge of XML, XSD, JSON, WSDL, XSLT.
• Experience with messaging technologies and middleware concepts.
• Strong SQL and database integration knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Knowledge of deployment and release management processes.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with webMethods.io and cloud integration.
• Exposure to DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Kafka, MQ Series, or other messaging platforms.
• Understanding of API lifecycle management.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
