Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Vehicle Integration Engineer with 7-9 years of experience in vehicle integration, packaging, and automotive product development. The candidate will be responsible for vehicle package layout, feasibility studies, integration activities, and coordination with cross-functional teams to deliver vehicle programs successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Vehicle Package Layout (VPL) for passenger vehicle programs.
- Perform vehicle packaging studies, integration assessments, and feasibility evaluations.
- Create CAD proposals and concept layouts using CATIA V5.
- Conduct DMU validation, interference checks, and packaging reviews.
- Execute ergonomic assessments using CAVA and Ramsis.
- Prepare BOM, engineering reports, and design documentation.
- Coordinate with Body, Interior Trim, Chassis, Suspension, Steering, Powertrain, and Electrical teams.
- Support vehicle benchmarking and competitive analysis activities.
- Ensure compliance with vehicle regulations, standards, and engineering guidelines.
- Support design reviews and issue resolution throughout the product development cycle.
Mandatory Skills
- 7-9 years of experience in Vehicle Integration / Vehicle Packaging.
- Strong proficiency in CATIA V5.
- Experience in CAVA, Ramsis, and Creo.
- Knowledge of DMU and PLM tools (Teamcenter/TCE/TCUA).
- Experience in Body, Interior Trim, Suspension, Steering, and Chassis integration.
- Understanding of DFM, DFA, and vehicle development processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Passenger Vehicle or Electric Vehicle (EV) programs.
- Good understanding of automotive regulations and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Education
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or equivalent.
