Sr Engineer - Target India Location: Tower 02, Manyata Embassy Business Park, Racenahali & Nagawara Villages. Outer Ring Rd, Bangalore 540065 About the Role We are looking for a Senior Engineer to build and deliver high-quality, scalable applications with a strong focus on frontend development using React and TypeScript. This role is ideal for someone who is highly skilled technically, hands-on, and capable of owning features end-to-end, while contributing to architecture and mentoring junior engineers. What You’ll Do Build & Deliver Design, develop, and deliver scalable full-stack applications Own feature development end-to-end (frontend + backend) Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code Troubleshoot issues and provide root cause solutions Frontend Engineering (Primary Focus) Develop applications using: React.js TypeScript Build reusable, maintainable UI components Optimize application performance and user experience Follow and contribute to frontend best practices and standards Work with Next.js where applicable Testing & Quality Write and maintain: Unit tests (Jest, React Testing Library) Integration and E2E tests Ensure code accounts for edge cases, error handling, and reliability Contribute to improving test coverage and quality metrics Backend Development Build and maintain services using: Java, Spring Boot Develop REST APIs and event-driven services Work with: Postgres, NoSQL databases
