Infectious Disease Specialist at Talentspoc · Dubai

We are seeking a skilled Specialist Infectious Disease Physician to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and managing complex infections, antimicrobial therapy, and infection prevention.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections.

• Evaluate and treat acute, chronic, and complex infectious diseases.

• Manage bloodstream infections, respiratory infections, hospital-acquired infections, and other serious infectious conditions.

• Develop appropriate antimicrobial treatment plans and monitor patient response.

• Provide specialist consultations for complex or unexplained infections.

• Support antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention initiatives.

• Collaborate with microbiologists, intensivists, surgeons, and other specialists.

• Advise clinical teams on infection control and prevention measures.

• Counsel patients regarding treatment, prevention, and follow-up care.

• Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.

• MD/DNB/MRCP or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Infectious Diseases or a relevant medical specialty with appropriate infectious disease training.

• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.

• Strong experience managing complex infectious diseases.

• Good knowledge of antimicrobial therapy and infection prevention.

• Excellent diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
